But first, I have to admit something. I didn’t vote.

I got really sick today – totally knocked out by some bug. I woke with a small headache and went to the office. By 11:30AM I was holding my head in my hands and trying to not toss my cookies (a figure of speech) in the waste can. I left the office at noon. I barely made it in the door before I started screaming for a bucket. This is all TMI, right? Let’s just say, not a good day. I passed out cold and then ran a fever for a few hours. I woke up around 5:30pm – I still have a headache but the nausea has subsided. I spent most of the evening laying on the couch eating crackers and playing with paper.
So…if my dude loses by one vote (unlikely, the electoral votes are looking good!!!) I will take full blame.
The Etsy lady that’s been making shirts for me struck again. This came in the mail this morning before I bolted from the office. Love it and can’t wait to throw it on with a pair of jeans. It’ll be lots of fun next summer with capris and little white sneakers too.
So here’s what I made tonight while moaning about my head, stomach and everything else…
Holiday tags! I think they’re pretty cute. The Fiance took the pictures for me..and he made me toast and soup (thanks Sweetie!!).
OK…back to holding the couch down…and flipping back and forth to CNN.
EDIT: Obama wins. I cry. Oh so deliciously happy!

My NY daughter emailed that the mood in the city is joyful today, with people talking together on the subway. Hope you are recovered and able to enjoy the afterglow. Thanks NY for all the E.C. points! They are still counting in my state, (provisional ballots)
