Am sitting in British Airways 1st class lounge (South) and it’s snack heaven. Oh man, they even have WW snacks. Might have to fill my backpack. I stole a little can of diet coke. It’s so stinkin’ cute, it had to be done. Nice buffet of Indian food, quick little plate of chicken curry. I could really get used to non-couch travel. HAH!
The lounge has tortoisse/horn style chandeliers. Will try to sneak a picture.
I just came back from Paris last week! Love. I will email you my Flickr link and you can see my view of Paris…thanks to my lovely daughter’s whip crackin’ tour…she rocked my ass all from one end of Paris to the other! I hit the one of the flea market (I think Marche du Puce?) not sure, and came back w/ some amazing vintage prints, wish I could have shipped like 100 mirrors and furniture pieces back home…
I’m going back in October. Au revoir!
Obviously I speak french as well as I write, ha! It was the same market you went to, how crazy is that place? I could have filled a moving truck with stuff.
That’s where I bought my chandelier a million years ago. The prices have become outrageous though. I did well at a smaller flea market in the southern section – got lots of linens.
I remembered you wrote that on your blog and I thought of you when I was in a haze of “stuff lust” that took over the minute I approached the market, OMG!! Yes, the prices were…high. Props to you for getting that chandie home!
I could have kicked myself for not buying some linens…I really wanted some vintage art prints, so I bought those and was trying to be “good” – in Paris of all places.

Now that is one good-looking Eiffel Tower. How cute are the two of you in Paris? Glad you had a good time. Isn’t it hard to come home?
