We spent nearly 6 hours in the car today driving in a torrential downpour, but Penny is home! While she did enjoy the tax benefits of Connecticut, she’s very much looking forward to New York pizza and the occasional Mets game.
I bought this cat carrier at Target, it looks more like a playpen than a carrier. Penny sang along with the radio all the way home. I thought for sure she’d need a cough drop. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow all the way home.
When we got home I snapped a few pics while she was still in the carrier. She’s locked up in the bathroom at the moment with food, water & a litter box. Thought she’d want to chill out by herself for a bit. Yanno, freshen’ up before her big party.

Yay! Got through our first night and she slept with us all night on a pillow. Around 5AM she and Fiance got up and he taught her how to use the the Tivo (hah!). Finally used the litter box this morning, I think she initially had a *shy bladder*.

Oh I’m so jealous! I’ve been thinking I really want a little kitty but am grappling with the small space that I have. Where would her little house go!!??? That picture is making me really want one!
