Am so very desperate for a non-rain day. Found this cute coffee table base on the side of the road this morning. Scurried back to our yard with it and plunked it down. Can’t wait to prime and paint it some bright happy color. Maybe drop a board on top with oil cloth stapled to the top? Awesome cheap yard table. Scuse me…drooling…
Remember the bird cage chandelier? The birds I ordered finally arrived yesterday! I have to beg my brother-in-law to help me cut some metal this weekend (so I can insert the light-itself) and then we should be good to go! Super excited to complete that project. Maybe I’ll pick up a few more frames this weekend and stick them in the shop. Well, we’ll see. Too many projects at the moment. Sort of drowning.
I did indeed hit the Longchamp sale yesterday. Two backpacks. Sort of a faux Hermes orange and a peacock blue. Yay!
Received over 1000 2.5 quilt squares in the mail. Oh my. This will certainly keep me off the streets for awhile. Can’t show the associated projects since they are to be holiday gifts. Sorry!

I picked up some vintage birds at an estate sale and thought of you, then realized I have a cage in my garage so I decided to keep them for myself. Sorry. Well, you got your birds anyway.

That table base is a real find. A friend has had really good luck finding glass table tops at Goodwill-maybe you can find a perfect one there for the table? Is the Longchamps sale on line too? Site?

I have a round glass topper but I don’t know if it will fit. Will see.

That coffee table base is cool! We don’t even have a coffee table! Got tired of it being used to jump off of! You really do make some awesome stuff!

I found a gorgeous glass top in the trash room on my building! Though I have absolutely no need for it – I had to take it. Maybe I’ll be lucky & find a table base too…
