A little less than 3 yards of vintage Dorothy Draper fabric fell into my life the other day.

Don’t you love that kind of rain?

The thought of taking a pair of scissors to this is…paralyzing. I think I’ll make some high res. scans of it and maybe make some stationery items for myself. One day it may become a headboard cover (I can pin & tuck the fabric…no scissors!) but I’ll have to wait till the kittens are older and have stopped sharpening their nails on anything & everything.
Tucker isn’t impressed. He was all “Dorothy who?”.

He’s such a little ham…loves to have his picture taken.

I picked up the stuff to turn those clip on earrings into posts…lunch time project for tomorrow! Sure hope the crazy glue doesn’t leak in my purse…

Tucker is adorable. I’m having cat withdrawal…
There’s lady giving away kittens a block away…
May have to see if she has any left

Oh. Tucker + Dorothy Draper Fabric = me almost turning kitty lover.
Maybe you should have squares of the fabric matted & framed?

Of course I’d cut into it in a heartbeat and make a mint! If people around here knew who Dorothy Draper was.

I don’t know if the pattern is still protected by copyright or public domain or what the rules are, but there is a company that will custom print fabric for you. It is called Spoonflower and I hope to order some someday.
