We finally made the jump to a bigger (yet skinnier) tv. We have had one of those great big 32″ TVs for a long time. You know, the kind that is as thick as it is wide. The old tv works fine…but it takes up soooo much room in our tiny livingroom. Ole Bessie will be gifted to a friend/family or donated to charity. I’m not looking forward to picking her up and hauling her out. Yikes.
[Mental Note: Keep feeding the single male neighbors, they'd be awesome tv mover/lifter peeps. Especially the Australian dude that I plan on gift-wrapping for Sarah.]

We still use the 19″ TV I had in college. If it works……

Sarah’s going to love that present!
Congrats on the new tv. You’ll love it, except maybe when it’s off and it’s so big that it’s like an elephant standing in the room. I feel like that about mine sometimes.

I am going to watch him on a 52″ Plasma in all his HD glory. I can not wait.
OMG I just had a horrible thought. What if my host don’t watch MM. What if they don’t know or don’t like Mad Men. Would it be rude of me to leave and check into the Holiday Inn?

Gladys – Completely reasonable to go to a hotel/motel that has cable.
We have Direct TV and our package nolonger includes AMC (horror!!) so I will be hanging out at a friend’s house. Eventually, I’ll get Don up on the 42incher. Till then, I can watch last season on it overandoverandoverandover…

I may go the sports bar that advertises “The Biggest-Ass Screen in Town” – picture a whole room of screen – so I can raise my cocktail to a WALL of Don Draper. Mr-eow.

Bring him on, baby!

Thanks sooooo much for thinking of me! Not sure if I want him to see me in front of the Opera House dressed up in an outfit that a cabbie repeatedly made fun of. Maybe a pic of me from today’s wedding? Although I’m pretty sure now that I’m going to look like an extra from the “Pretty in Pink” prom scene. Whatever…I’m going to own that s–t and do my hair old-school, Brigitte Nielsen style!

You rock that prom dress!
