Winner!

Winner!

Bag giveaway winner is announced below. But first, check out this bust…

Saw this bad boy at the Salvation Army last week and had to snap a picture.

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, Hayes Sewing Center in Wilmington had some amazing machines.

Machines I didn’t even know existed. Machines that looked like they belonged in a gym! Holy Moley!

So hopefully I have done my math correctly! It would appear that LINDA is the winner of the bag. I didn’t count my own comments in that post and I discounted 1 of Joanie’s 2 posts so I believe LINDA is the woman of the hour.

And to think I got all excited when I learned how to wrap a bobbin on my little Singer this week. I wouldn’t even know WHAT to do with those machines.

Congratulations to Linda! Such a great little bag (the prize, that is. Not Linda, who I’m sure isn’t a bag at all. :-)

After trying to cram a king size quilt under the arm of my 1972 Kenmore in order to quilt it I totally understand why serious quilter buy quilting sewing machines with the massive arm. Just saying’

What I wouldn’t give for a long arm quilter… Sure would make the actual quilting part way more fun than trying to stuff all that fabric through my little Kenmore!
