Flea Market Finds, RanDUMB, Upstate

Little Treasures.

I found this tin at a flea market this weekend. It was too pretty to pass up. I’m sucker for pretty tins. Inside the tin I have a smorgasbord of new little treasures…fancy buttons, not-so-fancy buttons, old clip-on earrings, French ribbon, eagle tin pins, etc. Little tin full of treasures.

Also on my travels last weekend I happened upon not one but two mail sorters. OMG. Wasn’t everyone and their Mother desperately searching for these 2 years ago when they were featured in a Domino Magazine spread? The large one was $250 and the smaller one was $95.

Alas,  I did not buy them.

No room at the Inn.

Those are fun finds! I can’t ever find anything good at a thrift shop, and we don’t have flea markets. Too bad you couldn’t get the mail sorter. What a fun way to organize something. Very cute.

That’s the quilt I bought at Sally’s last year for like $2 or $3 and almost ruined by machine washing/drying it. Oops.

More importantly look at how purty your house looks!! I remember that quilt well…gawd it looks fabulously at home there.

I think I would have bought that small caddy. I have no idea where I put it, but I would have bought it!

What a find!! I love old buttons. I recently bought a gallon-sized bag of some had the best time sorting through them. Also, that’s a beautiful room…

The buttons are so dreamy. Don’t you think about when they were new? A whole other world.
