I am not awake.
This post is going to jump all over like a Labrador.
It took me 3 days to make 3 little bags. Am not exactly zippy-zippy this week. Vintage pillowcase, Cranston fabric interior, a few odd jumpy stitches. What’s up fancy new machine? Why so jumpy? It’s too soon for us to start arguing. Sigh…
I added a little ric rak to the fronts. Also recently read online that they now make iron-on ric rak. Holla!

It took me 3 days to fully unpack my 3 bags. That said, my desk is a complete disaster. The messier it is, the more everything becomes a cat toy. Penny is a bit obsessed with the cupcake pincushion that Laura gave me for my birthday. Laura also made me the most awesome birthday card – ever. I’ll have to take pics of it and get it up here. It’s so stinkin’ cute!

Tucker has mastered the art of removing the batteries from the telephone. So umm, if I don’t answer, it’s cause Tucker has taken the batteries, again. I wonder if he has a walkman stashed somewhere, gotta get him an ipod.

Tucker. He needs constant entertainment. He’s my little ADD kitty-cat. He loves toys with bells. He especially likes to play with them at the foot of the bed around 3AM. I wake up, take them from him and hide them under my pillow. E.v.e.r.y. N.i.g.h.t.
So, you wondering who won the Julia Child My Life In France book?
The random number generator picked…
Number 4!
Check out Elissa’s blog, she’s got all kindsa vintage goodness happening.
This weekend – what to bake? Finally cleaned & pressed the apron I bought at the Paris flea market (1 Euro!). Love the big pockets. Mebbe I’ll finally get around to making the macarons? I have all the ingredients, just in need of time and a tidy kitchen to mess up. Not sure how the dishes stacked up for 2 weeks while I was in Europe. Goblins? Finally caught up with them last night.

First person to mention the quilts (that haven’t been worked on in months) gets a pop in the kisser!
I’m starting another contest this weekend…the winner will get an itouch ipod courtesy of the folks at Dupont! More details soon.
Last but not least, I’ll update my blogroll this weekend. I know I’m missing a bunch of you peeps!

My cat constantly meows and swats at the bells on the door when she wants to go out-which is all the time-even at 2 am!! I will try and catch her and record it someday

Tucker reminds me of the cat in the book “Bad Kitty”! I teach Kindergarten and it is one of my favorite books to share wih my class. I can so relate because I have FIVE (don’t judge me…I’m a sucker for a stray) bad kitties of my own!!!

Awwww…I’m so glad you like the card! And that Penny likes the gift, too. And I actually LOLd at Tucker de-batterying your phone. That’s pretty awesome.

Tucker is the oddest cat I have ever met. Last night we played *fetch* for almost half an hour. I throw the ball down the hallway, he runs, picks it up in his mouth and runs back to me and drops it in my lap and then I throw it again. He is nutty.

Oooh, I just hate bells that ring in the middle of the night…..like cellphones and email messages on the blackberry! Love those bags and hope you and the machine made up
