Another DIY Ironing Board.

Another DIY Ironing Board.

I made a big ironing board a few years ago and it has served me well (I have since taken the legs off). Occasionally it’s a bit too big. I have to pretty much clear off my whole desk to iron something. I thought it’d be nice to have a smaller ironing board to use for petite projects. Picked up a board (with art) on it at the Goodwill for $2. It was the right size for what I was looking for and it already had a hook to hang it up on the back. Yippee Skippy!

When you do something like this the most important thing to remember is that you must walk away for at least 60 seconds. Go potty. Wash your hands. Get a cold drink. Why? So the cat can find a comfortable spot to help you. Thanks, Penny!

Sandwich pretty fabric, then 2 layers of batting, staple gun around it and neatly fold corners. Voila! Cute little ironing board.

You have the most help! I do declare, if it wasn’t for your two kitties, you wouldn’t get anything accomplished! Ha!

That’s adorable. I’m thinking of using the same idea to make a day bed. Really.

LOVE the fabric. Is it vintage? Reminds me of curtains my mother had when I was a wee one.
