Miles = free airfare. Yay!

We ran away for a few days.

Florida.

We wanted to look at houses.

It’s been an on-going discussion.

This is NOT a house. LOL. This is the fancy-pants-super-wonderful hotel we stayed at for the first 4 nights.

The plan was to spend a day or two soaking up the sun and then hit the real estate trail. Unfortunately all the attic-cleaning-madness completely threw Sam’s back out. He spent much of the trip with ice packs and twice daily trips to a Chiropractor. OOF. Not a happy boy.

We made the best of it. When he was feeling up to hit, we went to the pool.

And there was ice cream.

One day we even made it to a flea market. What’d I get?

This old tin & ceramic angel for 50 cents. I can’t stop taking pictures of her!

A Pantone book for…50 cents. I feel guilty having paid only 50 CENTS for a Pantone book! I bought a few more 25cent books from the guy so I could at least give him a buck.

We ended up having to stay in Florida an extra 4 days since Sam couldn’t travel easily. The hotel we moved to was not nearly as nice (it was a total dump) as the one we were at earlier in the week. Frankly, I’m trying to block it out. Ick!

When we got back to NY, spring had sprung!
